What are some good back handspring drills to make the gymnasts do them correctly?
I have a gymnast who takes off for her back handspring from her toes while leaning her hips forward, causing her shoulders to be in front of her hands when she jumps back. She does this because she is scared to lean back and has been doing it for so Long that it’s become a hard habit to break. If anyone has any suggestions on how to fix this, I would appreciate it.
Try helped her with a back handspring trainer. Ask her coach about a Hand Spring Machine in gymnastics Catalog .
