How to boost a 12 Volt Battery to 240-260 volts?
What could be done to boost a circuit’s voltage from 12 volts (supplied by a 12v battery) to no more & no less than 240-260 volts DC? Hopefully without loosing the amperage. Looking for an alternative to buying X # of same sized batteries and connecting them together. For an electromagnet experiment.
Use power converter to boost 12 volt to 240 volt AC with less amp
then use rectifier to convert AC output to DC
you can’t get same amp in output .
