How do I paint a wall with the texture after removing wallpaper?

I just removed the wallpaper, so now I a very very good gypsum. I want to get the walls were textured paint Look at them, instead of being so sweet. Do I need to buy a primer Special or other item to add a brush "texture" the walls? Any recommendations?

You can add texture by obtaining wall putty and a putty knife and spread the mastic on the wall of the configuration you want … then paint it.
